She's been able to get to her destination (by creeping, rotating and flipping) for some time now, but last night, at 6 months and 10 days old, she finally figured out how to alternate her hand movement and started crawling.

Twins:)
Yes, I can get obsessed with dressing them alike:)
It finally makes sense that Children's Place would offer savings if you buy two of the same item :)
You gotta zoom-in on Asmaa's face

Nusayba's Counting to 10!
For some reason she skips wahed (one) and I think it's because I usually say it to get her started.
My favorite is number eight -- mnamna which is supposed to be thamaniya :)

Long Distance Call
This was the first "real" conversation Nusayba and Iman had over the phone since Iman left us about 5 months ago.
I think Nusayba was trying to speak in English!
That was the length of their call -- just Nusayba & Iman!
Soon we'll need calling cards just for Nusayba:)

There was another really cute video of Nusayba multitasking:) I don't know if she was imitating me, but she had the phone to her ear in one hand and was walking around in circles picking-up fliers and pretending to read them with the other.
(I wasn't able to upload that video for some reason)

On Her Knees
Although she's not really creeping yet, Asmaa's now getting up on her knees and swaying back and forth.
She's very good at pushing herself backwards, or as her uncle puts it, "reversing", until she hits a wall and starts crying for help. We've found her in our closet, stuck under our bed and here under the chair.
Food Attack
Asmaa started solids on her 5th month birthday--November 19th. She gets so excited that I have a hard time refilling her spoon.

Beading
I was really surprised with Nusayba's attention span. Some of these animal/object shaped beads are really thick and quite difficult for her to get the string through, but masha'a Allah, she did the entire thing on her own.
Frustrating at times, but I did it!

A day at Gilroy Gardens
The funnest part of having 'ami (my uncle) here is that he went on all rides with me
OK, not all rides...
Banana Split
Abi and 'ami really enjoyed themselves on the banana split ride--they were shaking when they got off:)
Beautiful falls
OK, not all rides...
Yes, I was afraid at first. I got used to it after a few seconds, but abi decided not to take another picture :)

'ami's here!
Nusayba really enjoys spending time with her 'ami Ahmad (uncle). She sees him once a week on average, but continues to ask about him daily until he comes over the following Friday.

Visit to the farm
We spent a few hours on Saturday at the Hidden Villa farm in Los Altos. It was kinda raining, but alhamdulillah, we all enjoyed it.
There was also a blacksmith at the farm and Nusayba got to ring a bell--many times!

Watching Iman
Nusayba doesn't get enough of Iman (her sister bel-radha'ah) She loves looking at her pictures and especially enjoys her entertaining videos. She usually laughs out loud, especially if she's watching the video for the first or second time.

Our new buggy
Yes, our new stroller is very comfortable, easy to maneuver, fun to ride especially on a jog....
But the best part is that ummi feels so guilty for spending so much $$ on it that we get to go out everyday--and sometimes even twice a day! (and thus the next few photos:) )
